Crassfire

Jon Stewart's live appearance on CNN's Crossfire last Friday was the most confrontational feat of media criticism I've ever seen. Other than the obvious jabs that left Begala and Carlson stammering, Stewart voiced what everyone working in my office has been preaching this entire campaign.

A must: Video and transcript

(a better video clip)

Hey Emily, if the screen is so flat why don't you stick one up your ass and post a picture of it on your blog?

Chris, sweet post bro. I hope I'm related to that Stewart guy.

Oh, boo-effing-hoo for Tucker "what's his name" Carlson.

He can take it.
Actually, he did; he recently admitted to Wonkette, "I can be dick."

Personally, I like Tucker Carlson.* When he's not forced to perform like a partisan monkey on Crossfire, he's a highly articulate, reasonable, free-thinking conservative voice.

I'm looking forward to checking out his new PBS show, "Unfiltered."

*much more than that Fraggle co-host of his, Paul Begala.
